A groundbreaking event is scheduled at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28 for the new $9.5 million Carnegie Village Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Belton, Mo. Tutera Senior Living & Health Care Center will be adding the new Carnegie Village Rehabilitation and Health Care Center to the Carnegie Village Senior Living Community, which opened in 2002, and includes independent living, assisted living and memory care services.
“We are proud to break ground on this state-of-the-art, post-acute rehabilitation facility that has been carefully designed to provide seniors with the most advanced therapy and protocols available to meet their individualized needs to help them achieve recovery and return home quickly,” said Randy Bloom, Ph.D., president and chief operating officer of Tutera Senior Living & Health Care.
The new Carnegie Village Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is expected to be completed in April of 2017 and will provide post-surgical, skilled nursing rehabilitation and wellness services. The center will also offer mock living spaces to assist rehabilitation patients with performing everyday activities to help prepare residents for their return to active living.
“Our focus is to provide a continuum of care for seniors in Belton and throughout the Kansas City metro area with quality residential options that offer seamless access to integrated health-care services as they are needed,” said Tutera CEO Joe Tutera.
To develop Carnegie Village Rehabilitation and Health Care, Tutera has hired studioSIX5 as well as the local firms of NSPJ Architects and CFS Engineering.
