After demolishing an old vacant office building on the site, VanTrust Real Estate has broken ground on a new state-of-the-art multi-tenant medical office building in Overland Park. Soon, a new 79,000-square-foot office building will take shape at 6650 West 110th Street — a prime location for the South Johnson County submarket.
The three-story building, which sits on 5 acres, will house the new corporate headquarters and flagship imaging center for Diagnostic Imaging Centers, a locally owned outpatient imaging provider. According to CEO Ed Moore, the building interior will be designed to increase patient comfort, allow easy access to all modalities, and improve workflow efficiency.
Located on the south side of I-435 between Metcalf and Lamar, Diagnostic Imaging Centers will take 42,000 square feet of the new building, leaving build-to-suit availability on the second and third floors.
“This is a great opportunity for an office/medical tenant looking for Class A space in South Johnson County, which is extremely hard to come by,” said Jim Gates, senior vice president of Colliers International | Kansas City.
McCownGordon Construction is constructing the building, with design services by Finkle Williams Architecture.
