Onspring Technologies, a no-code software development platform company, plans to break ground this fall on what will be their new office headquarters at the intersection of 137th St. and Nall Ave. in Leawood, Kan.
The new-construction campus will be located on 4.1 acres and includes two 24,000 SF, L-shaped office buildings (both two-stories), a 12,210 SF plaza area and 155 parking spaces.
Two years ago, co-founders Chris Pantaenius and Chad Kreimendahl began thinking about the idea of creating a local headquarters that Onspring could call its own.
“We were experiencing tremendous company growth, and with new product solutions serving new markets, we didn’t anticipate that growth slowing down,” Pantaenius said.
In 2019, due to company growth and the addition of several new hires, Onspring moved to a larger leased space in Corporate Woods. Soon after, the duo began planning a new, permanent HQ.
“We wanted space that was unique for our employees and would best serve our needs when customers visited for on-site meetings and training,” Kreimendahl said.
Onspring experienced early success from quick adoption by enterprise governance, risk and compliance teams and has since expanded their offerings into new business areas and added team members with experience in internal audit, legal and vendor management.
In May 2020, Onspring launched their newest product solution: IT service management. Today, the company staffs 43 employees.
“We’ve enjoyed supporting the Onspring team throughout the planning and design process for this new office building. Our collaboration has resulted in a dynamic and energetic space for Onspring’s growing team,” said Kelsey Sundet, AIA and senior asssociate at BRR Architecture.
Other partners on the project include Olsson, PMA Engineering and Lankford & Fendler. Awards have not yet been granted for general contracting, interior design or landscaping.
Businesses of all sizes and industries use Onspring to support governance, risk, compliance, internal audit, vendor management and IT teams. Customers include Western Union, Schneider National, Cboe Markets, Ace Hardware, Community America Credit Union and Ciena Corporation.
