The 2021 MetroWire Media Kansas City Office Summit is set for September 22 at 2345 Grand’s Gather space.
In July 2019, CrossHarbor Capital Partners and Lingerfelt Common Wealth Partners purchased the 2345 Grand Building in downtown Kansas City, Mo.
Soon thereafter, GC Centric began the renovation efforts alongside designer, Helix Architecture + Design, starting with upgrades to the common area, lobby and amenities.
Specific improvements, which were completed in March 2020, include:
Upgrades to the exterior—extensive cleaning, new signage and lighting
Lobby renovation—new finishes including new furniture, custom security desk, lighting, and digital directories
An upgraded fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment (Peletons), country-club-style locker/shower room with towel service, and increased natural light (added windows down the hallway in front of the fitness center)
New tenant lounge, Gather—featuring flexible work areas, WiFi and Monarch Coffee
Adjacent Multi-purpose Conference Center with state-of-the-art AV system and flexible work configurations
“Amenities matter. We have seen a dramatic uptick in leasing activity at 2345 Grand, which I strongly attribute to the owner’s investment and commitment to the asset. In today’s market, you must separate yourself—and that’s what we have done at 2345 Grand," said Miles McCune, president and founder (who will also be speaking on the September 22 MWM Office Summit panel) with Range Realty Partners, who is leasing the building tenant space.
Along with the extensive list of upgrades and renovations, new branding provides a clear identity with updated signage throughout the building and updated tenant spaces. Recent new leases include Jack Cooper and Epcor—with many more on the way, according to Range Realty Partners.
Tours of the building’s new spaces will be available at the MWM Office Summit. Look for registration to open next week here: MWM Office Summit Info.
