Construction has begun on the Class-A, 108,000-SF office building on the Creative Campus at 5400 W. 110th Street in Overland Park, Kan.
The new building, scheduled to be complete in the third quarter of 2021, will bring the total campus footprint to 335,750 SF.
Creative Planning, a wealth management firm, currently occupies the entire five-story, 125,000-SF building on the northeast corner of the campus. They also share the 102,750-SF building to the east with HCA Midwest Health's headquarters.
“Starting construction on this building in these times is very exciting for us,” said Peter Mallouk, chief executive officer of Creative Planning.
“This final building will complete our Campus and we are very excited to expand our roster of high-quality tenants," Mallouk said.
VanTrust Real Estate and design-builder, Burns & McDonnell, who partnered on the first two phases of the campus, are also delivering the third and final phase on behalf of Creative Planning.
The entire building will be available for lease with RJ Trowbridge of the JLL Kansas City office overseeing the marketing efforts.
“We are thrilled to have this building under construction on the Creative Planning Campus. Creative Campus III will provide a state-of-the-art work environment that will be sure to attract companies looking to advance creativity, employee engagement and attract and retain talent," Trowbridge said.
