Wichita-based Vantage Point Properties has officially announced the development of the office phase at The Quarry mixed-use project in Lenexa, Kan. The three-building development will introduce 145,000 SF of Class A office space to the KC metro area.
Vantage Point has enlisted the expertise of Cushman & Wakefield's leasing team, including Marty Gilchrist, Suzanne Dimmel, and Andrew Greene, to spearhead the marketing efforts for The Quarry and attract potential tenants. Gilchrist highlights The Quarry as a reflection of the post-pandemic trend toward highly-amenitized workplaces.
Initially titled Reflections at City Center, the project underwent a name modification following the discovery of substantial limestone boulders during site excavation. Rebranded as Reflections Apartments, this upscale 338-unit complex seamlessly integrates these distinctive geological elements into its design.
Vantage Point CEO Paul Jackson expressed excitement about the project, emphasizing the exceptional combination of natural surroundings and amenities. With easy access to Lenexa City Center, luxury apartments, and major highways.
Ashley Sherrard, CEO of the Lenexa Chamber of Commerce, lauded The Quarry's contribution to Lenexa's unique opportunities and dynamic landscape, expressing anticipation for collaborative efforts to fulfill the project's vision.
Upon completion in the summer of 2025, Lenexa City Center will complement The Quarry with over 400,000 SF of retail and restaurant space, entertainment venues, recreational facilities, and hotels.
The Quarry's office phase offers diverse leasing opportunities, including drive-through availability for potential bank tenants, rooftop space options, and exterior signage visibility along I-435 and Renner Road.
