The Urban Land Institute of Kansas City is gearing up to host its next technical assistance panel, where it provides strategic advice to sponsors on complex land use and real estate development issues. The TAPs program links local public agencies and nonprofit organizations to the expert knowledge and experience of ULI members.
The panel begins the process with a conversation between its community outreach committee and the community sponsor to frame the assignment. An interdisciplinary panel of volunteers has been assembled and they will spend their time exploring the project, interviewing stakeholders, and making recommendations. Panels approach the assignment from all perspectives, including market potential, land use and design, financing and development strategies, and organizing and implementation.
On January 13 and 14, the latest panel of 10 local experts in real estate development will engage in a discussion led by former EPR Properties CEO David Brain and John McGurk, a shareholder with Polsinelli in the real estate department. Join the conversation on January 14th at 5pm at the Kansas City Design Studio, 1018 Baltimore Avenue in Kansas City, Mo.
