A new apartment project in a historic Kansas City neighborhood is making its debut. The Grocer’s Warehouse in historic Roanoke Park is now home to 14 new luxury apartments called The Studio Lofts. Led by Hufft Projects, whose office is located within the same building, the apartments offer modern architecture with the clean and modern aesthetic of a high-end loft.
Units range from 700 to 950 square feet and take inspiration from its surroundings with its natural materials like wood, concrete and glass. Four different floor plans are available, and the building offers an on-site fitness studio, dry cleaning, housekeeping service options, and access to a private lounge and social space within the building, dubbed “The Boilermaker.” An “urban backyard” area is also on-site and equipped with grills, hammocks and a lounge. The building is also home to The Wolferman Suite, a luxury guest suite within the building that once served as Fred Wolferman’s historic corner office.
