Jeremy Bechtold is the vice president of facilities, construction, and real estate at Saint Luke’s Health System. He oversees each of these areas, as well as property management, for 10 Kansas City area hospitals, home care and hospice, behavioral health care, and dozens of physician practices and retail clinics.
Outside of his role at Saint Luke’s, Bechtold serves on a number of boards and acts as an advisor across the region in areas of design, construction, development and health care. With a degree in architectural engineering and construction management from the University of Kansas, Bechtold is currently the president elect for Kansas City Area Healthcare Engineers.
SLHS started out as a small hospital for a frontier trading town in 1882. Today, it is the only locally owned, not-for-profit health system in Kansas City. SLHS has a faith-based heritage that serves a metropolitan area of 2 million people, has more than 9,500 employees and has a service area covering 67 counties in both Missouri and Kansas.
Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys spending time being active with his family attending sporting events and enjoying the outdoors including water sports on the lake.
