Emily Tilgner is the newest principal at Lankford Fendler + Associates.
The Kansas City-based engineering firm, which specializes in sustainable design, now has a trio of partners. Tilgner joins the ranks of Alan Lankford, founder and president, and Greg Fendler.
In her new role, she will manage all the firm's projects, including project design, specifications and construction. She will also serve as technical leader of the mechanical engineering department.
Tilgner draws off of more than 13 years of construction industry experience on both the design and build side, working on high-profile projects such as the AMC Theatre Support Center and the Black & Veatch world headquarters renovation and addition. She previously served as project development manager at McCownGordon Construction, and is a Kansas State University graduate.
